Due to unforseen circumstances, the 2024 Adelaide Wind Band Festival has unfortunately been cancelled.

The Adelaide Wind Band Festival embodies the practices of artistic collaboration, musical excellence, music education, and community engagement

The Adelaide Wind Band Festival aims:

  • To provide a platform for the South Australian wind band movement to celebrate and promote the medium’s diverse musical-making across the professional, educational, and community spheres it exists in

  • To provide performances and enriching activities that advance the medium’s development, awareness, and aesthetic appreciation to both stakeholders and the wider community

  • To support the growth and sustainability of the South Australian musical ecosystem between professional, educational and community bodies

  • To provide and support South Australian music educational pathways for developing and pre-professional students who aspire for a career within the Australian wind band movement

Festival Attendance

School/Youth Band Festival Pass $250

This pass offers full attendance at all Festival sessions and concerts for up to 50 students, accompanying teachers / chaperones free of charge (to a maximum of 5)

School/Youth Band Festival and
Performance Pass $350

This pass requires an audition process. It offers full attendance at all sessions and concerts for ensemble members; participation in one concert as performers; accompanying teachers / chaperones free of charge (to a maximum of 5)

If the School/Youth Band Festival pass doesn’t suit your requirements, consider the Individual Full/Half Festival Pass available for adults and students

Full Festival Pass $50/$42

This pass offers full attendance at all Festival sessions and concerts for both days

Concert Ticket $10/$8

Attendance for one concert of your choice

Concert Series Pass $25/$20

Attendance for up to three concerts
